                Performance Arts UAL Level 2

Today we will start  a new experience in our lives, an experience that will fill our knowledge and will give us skills for get a better development in our future, each person is unknown for me but i know this will change with the time.
I will start to make a resume about all week, what we did, what i learn and how i feel about every experience that i will get every week.

From September 12th until 16th we start the new year in the level 2 performance art.

1- At the beginning in production  (the first class) the teacher started to introduce us to the college, how it works, where are our classrooms then we start to speak about production, look videos and  look all details about them and we start to write our week in our blog.


- We did a conversation where we talked about what is production.
- We got videos and we had to look for the details between each other
 -We started to to make our blog writing down what we did in all week.

 2- In acting class we start to make exercise voice,improvisation,talk about our skills,imagination, team work, interpretation, confident and more.

-We did a small performance creating a short story.
-We did exercise voice using different kind of words this for make clear our pronunciation and get more skills when we will be in front of a public.
-As a team we had to create a story about whatever, using a music as a soundtrack.
-Using one line that each student elected we had to create a conversation and performance, 
    
3- In the performance class (body movements) we had been doing kind of exercises for the body and kind of music with our hands, this working as a team.

-We wrote down what we shouldn't do in the classroom.
-We did a exercise take out the nervous we had and for warm muscles.
- We did music using applause and making sound while another group is dancing our rhythm with.

4- In math we started to review the basic skills about math, then we started to make exercises about them. 

-We review the 4 basic skills in math Addition, substation, multiply and division.
-We did a review in factor, prime number, multiplies.

5- In English we were answering questions that we got in the board 

-We had questions we had to choose one of them, i elected all and i answer one by one.

From September 19th until 23th we start the new year in the level 2 performance art.

1-In production we saw an interesting class where we talk about the responsibilities that everyone is en charge for.

2- In acting class we start to make improvisation talking about identity.

-We spoke about story created for the class getting ideas from them, we put in practice:
Improvisation, interpretation, imagination, articulation, confident, discipline and more.

-We did improvisation about small words we got from the teacher, in a small group of 4 with each body we had to create simple things like: tables, cars, haystack and bridge.

-We did exercises for improvisation and be focus in what we do, we got so much funny doing a game consisting in take someone out the classroom and and the rest of the team inside choose who famous person is it, then we had to say ideas to the chosen and it had to guess who is it, we did improvisation game it consist in 2 people will start sentences in alphabetical order with an environment elected for the team.

-In the theater we did an exercise, it consist in start a conversation with the last word of the sentences that the firs person had said, example:

-Josh: Hey, how are you?
-Lee: Uncle! i'm ok thanks for that
-Josh: The same for you thanks for ask.
-Lee: kisses, see you!

-We did a focus exercise in which it consisted of sitting on a chair with someone in front of you sitting as well, we had to talk each other and try to get the attention from the another person and at the same time understand what it was saying.

 -We had been doing during the class time exercises voice, they consist in say different words for get the right pronunciation and voice tone.    

-We did concentration game where we had to close our eyes and someone had to elect one person called killer, the killer had to kill someone and we were aware about who was killed, after we opened the eyes we had to discovery who was it.

3- In the performance class (body movements) we continue with the last class however we learned a new movements with music as a soundtrack.

-We wrote down what is warm up.
-We danced slowly following the music as a soundtrack.
-Crate music using applause and dance with the rhythm made for it.
4- In math we had been learning about the basic skills needed in it.
For all of the following points we did many simple exercise getting the help from the teacher if we required.

-Subtraction:
-Additions.
-Multiply.
-division.
-How multiply the sing negative and positive if we have the 4 different basics skills in math.

From September 26th to 30th we start the new year in the level 2 performance art.

1-In production classes we were watching videos about responsibilities that everyone have to develop soon. My responsibility is Stage management.

Stage management is the person in charge to coordinate and organize a theatrical production, it coordinates lights, sets, sounds, dresses, rehearsal, schedule, details making the sets, distributing the information all of the departments, be aware about scripts, movement, acting, make sure about team's wellness and more responsibilities.    




2- In the acting class started to create a play at the theater, there're two of them.

 -The first one is about a guys in detention and we have to act 2 different moment one where we are remembering why 2 of the guys are in detention and 2nd one asking why a smart girl is in detention.
The 2nd play is about people looking for to rent houses to live and the person in charge to make the renting in a horrible and corrupt. 
Basically we are working in details at the set how to make and scene as natural as possible, how to stand, talk and walk in front the public, and the improvisation.


3- In the performance class (body movements) we did a amazing classes where we dance with music as a soundtrack, we had to choose someone and dance with it, then with someone else we had to start to follow it and do the same than it, we thought about any famous character and imitate it.

4- In math we had been learning about equations:

-We were developing some exercises using addition, subtraction, multiply and division.
We got 3 homework where we can put on practice what we have learned in math class.

-We did a special game, it consisted in 2 groups (blue and red) we got operations in the board and we had to calculate and answer then when the teacher give us the opportunity to say what we got.
